I have found Facebook to be such a good way of connecting with old friends and with new friends.  Several years ago, I started a Morning Practice of posting a reflection question/ discussion question.  I've named these questions about a favorite drinking establishment I used to frequent in central Illinois with my college friends. We gathered there a time or two (or three or four), and would each grab a white napkin and write a thoughtful or funny question (one per napkin). Then we'd pass the napkins around in our circle--each member would add their answer or idea to the question on that napkin. These were `Life Questions' and have come to be known as "White Horse questions."  Here's a few examples, to give you an idea of what I mean:

White Horse: What's one of your favorite parts of your Saturday morning ritual?

White Horse: Whatever happened to . . . ?  (list yours here)

White Horse: Describe your first grade teacher (thanks, JBE)?

Two for Tuesday, in the spirit of balance. . .White Horse: What s a kindness given and a kindness received this day?

Robert Louis Stevenson said, "To travel hopefully is better than  to arrive" White Horse: where are you traveling
today?

White Horse: What was the best part of your weekend?

(this'll date ya...)White Horse: what's your favorite album (or
album cover) from your college
days?
